More than 3,000 dancers, more than 30 carnival groups and 30 floats can't wait to mash up the streets of Gauteng city come 2019!
The TS Summer Carnival is the brain child of dESTINATION eVENT in collaboration with TS and MM and would form part of the planned M Unlimited Group, one big celebration of the cultural diversity, culture and art that are embedded within Gauteng.
Performing arts, musical presentations, high-end international artists, dance and storytelling are some of the shows earmarked for this yearly iconic festival that would take place in more than three major locations.
The TS Summer Carnival street parade will unleash a huge wave of energy and that means an explosion of color, joy, music and creativity in a parade of spectacular floats.
The TS Summer Carnival street parade would be the first of its kind in Africa and would herald a new wave of the SPECTACULAR!
It would be a parade with one main mission; make you dance!
As an offshoot of the traditional carnivals in the Caribbean, the planned colorful procession and fanfare would spark with the spirit of diversity in Gauteng.
We would be attracting thousands of visitors into the TS area to admire the great floats, the extravagant costumes, the music, the food, the fireworks and the catchy rhythms.
The TS Summer Carnival street parade is set to be the largest AfriCaribbean street party in Africa and everyone would be invited!!!
There would be various pageants, women in extravagant carnival dress competing for the title of TS Summer Carnival Queen.
The winner would be given fantastic prizes and would lead the 2020 Summer Carnival Street Parade and represent the festival all over Africa, Europe, the Caribbean and America.
The TS carnival would push on to a display of the most extravagant collection of International culminate in the most extraordinary display of FW ever seen this side of the universe.
We would have ambitious African and Caribbean style brass bands starting from different points in the main city area and making their way towards the main stage to be setup outside TS to get the entire city hyped up for the Summer Carnival!
The best brass band will win the TS Golden Drum 2019.
